Did you ever wish that you didn’t have to keep track of all your receipts when traveling for business? Have you ever lost a receipt or wished there was a quick and convenient way to get a copy? Avis Rent A Car System, LLC today announced that customers can now obtain “e-Receipts,” a paperless alternative to rental receipts. Customers who have provided an email address in their rental profile and have used their Avis Wizard number at the time of rental will now have a record of their transaction automatically e-mailed to them within 24 hours from the time of the vehicle’s return.
“We are always looking for ways to enhance the productivity of our business travelers and make leisure travel more convenient,” said Becky Alseth, senior vice president of marketing for Avis Budget Group, Inc., parent of Avis. “We’re proud to introduce e-Receipts to Avis customers and provide them with another way to save valuable time.”
Customers will still receive a paper receipt when the rental vehicle is checked in. The e-Receipt service is automatic and available free of charge to customers with an email address in their rental profile. Customers who do not have a rental profile but wish to receive an e-Receipt can do so by contacting Avis Customer Service at 800-352-7900 or custserv@avis.com. To create/update a rental profile, Avis customers should visit the “My Avis” section of www.avis.com.
