The Canadian loyalty scheme Aeroplan has completely reworked its roster of car rental partners, with Avis Rent A Car, The Hertz Corporation and National Car Rental now being the programme’s partners of choice. Aeroplan members have long been able to accumulate Aeroplan Miles with these partners and, starting from 1st November 2005, Aeroplan’s three car rental partners will now provide more competitive offers with renewed mileage accumulation levels.

In addition, Aeroplan Miles will be offered across partners’ rental locations in North America and Europe, as well as on truck rentals. Aeroplan members will be able to continue to earn Aeroplan Miles with current car rental partners Alamo Rent A Car, Budget Rent A Car and Thrifty Car Rental until 31st October 2005.
